CAS-PRO®Framework

The CAS-PRO®Framework is the foundation for rapid development of Command-All-Systems (CAS) application development. The framework is built on years of wireless application development expertise for connected devices, making it a solid foundation to build from. The CAS-PRO®director framework diagram (shown above) demonstrates the flexibility of the platform. The developer has full control of the open source CAS developer tools and use of the included APIs for Devices, Protocols, or Radios or create their own. In addition, the developer can add custom code to the application by creating an CASlet for controlling various aspects of the system.

CAS-PRO®director has a built-in application framework that can be easily configured or modified to create intelligent applications for your remote monitoring and control needs. The framework has a plug-in architecture and includes drivers for most common sensors and radios. Also included in the framework is an embedded TCP/IP stack with Telnet, FTP and Web servers. The framework works with all the free standard Java development tools; e.g., Eclipse, NetBeans, Sun Java JDK and optional IDE’s are available for Java, C and Assembler debugger and KNI Native Interface.

Not only has CAS-PRO®wireless built the software to handle the requirements for CAS applications, there are built-in tests to verify each of the features.
