Wireless Environmental Monitoring

Environmental_management_boxOur wireless sensors can be placed in any type of environment, including refrigerated trucks(Reefers), shipping containers, medical facilities, outdoor locations, schools etc. Utilizing our three tier solution we can provide constant real-time environmental monitoring to any authorized CAS-PRO®dashboard™ user. The user can set sensor ranges and receive instant notification of out-of-boundary conditions.

An example of real-time environmental monitoring is adding wireless sensors (temperature, humidity, CO2 levels) through out a building. When any of the levels, especially temperature or VOC's (Volatile Organic Compounds) passes outside the scope of the set parameters. Maintenance crews can immediately be sent to correct the situation.

Since the 1960's and 70's it has been well documented that high levels of CO2 or an increase in temperature can cause productivity to decline. This becomes particularly important in office buildings and schools, where individuals need to excel in higher brain functions. By constantly monitoring these levels we can ensure better productivity by adjusting temperature levels and increasing the level of outside air as required to maintain a proper balance in the environment.

Below is one example of how the remote environmental monitoring is accomplished

  • The central controller (CAS-PRO®director) will receive information from sensors located within 600 feet
  • Temperature sensors are placed in the area to be monitored
  • The sensors collect information and transmit to the controller
  • Controller sends information to the backend system (CAS-PRO®dashboard™ or other)
  • The backend system is used for monitoring, control and alerting

There are any number of possible solutions that can be accomplished with one CAS-PRO®director. Wireless sensors can be placed throughout the location sending constant feedback to the CAS-PRO®wireless controller on site. In addition to monitoring the environment CAS-PRO®director can be connected with Generators or HVAC systems to monitor and control the equipment from remote locations.
